Leverburgh WiFi Network - Island Wide

Many people are becoming aware of WiFi Hotspots and there are several appearing across the islands. Leverburgh WiFi Network will create a WiFi hotspot in the area of Leverburgh. Althought there are many hotspots across the islands knowledge of them is scarce and coverage is not yet 100%.

A group of local businessmen are currently investigating the possibility of creating an agreement with all the owners of these hotspots to allow users of each individual hotspot to have useage of all the hotspots. In effect this would mean that users could access the internet from their home and across the islands.

The main advantage to this would be for those people who are on the move with WiFi enabled notebooks, PDA's etc. This may appear to be of use only to the businessman but there are advantages to hhe home user such as the ability to access email while away from home.
